Terms & Conditions of Sale & Service - Special Order Returns

Special Order items are items we do not keep in our regular inventory. When a customer places an order and non-stock items are requested these are considered Special Order Items subject to the terms and conditions of this returns policy.
Once the order is placed we are not able to return Special Ordered Items to our suppliers. Because we made a purchase specifically at the customer's request Special Order Items are not returnable. Regularly stocked items are returnable and subject to a restocking fee of 20% for a in-store credit only.
All returns must be requested within 30 days of receipt and in the same resalable condition (with original packaging). Installation labor, shop fees, travel costs, and shipping charges cannot be credited or refunded.

Warranty Coverage Policy

We require advanced payment for all warranty repairs. Most manufacturer warranty policies provide consumer confidence against workmanship and product defects only. Some manufactures provide a partial allowance for repair labor and travel expenses when an item fails during the parts warranty coverage period. In the rare event a warranty repair is needed, we are happy to submit the repair invoice to the manufacture for reimbursement. Once warranty reimbursement is received from the manufacturer, we will refund the reimbursement monies received less a $25 warranty administration fee. Please note that manufacturer warranty reimbursement payments rarely cover all repair expenses.


No implied or expressed warranty is given other than the manufacturers published warranty which covers new and demo products. Inspection services are limited to visually inspected portions of the fireplace, stove, appliance, and chimney system. No safety guarantee is given regarding continued usage of any fireplace, appliance, chimney or venting system. Inspection services are specifically provided to identify deviations from national standards and building code. Customer's and thier agents agree to hold harmless and indemnify Jamison's Chimney Service, it's officers, employees, and independent contractors as a condition of all sales and services provided.
